Shipshape Receives Investment from Aeotec Americas

Shipshape Solutions, an Austin, TX-based smart home software company, secured a strategic investment from Aeotec Americas.

The amount of the deal was not disclosed.

The investment solidifies the partnership to accelerate Shipshape’s innovation in the smart home space.

Led by Alexander Linn, Founder and CEO, Shipshape offers solutions to help homeowners save money on maintenance and energy by integrating an ecosystem of smart home hardware and other sources of data to power advanced analytics, recommend actions and connect service providers to reduce risks and improve system performance.

This partnership between Shipshape and Aeotec Americas helps consumers unlock the value of their connected products and find new ways to save money on the operation of their homes to reduce home maintenance risks, improve system performance and increase energy efficiency. The platform includes an app, powered by artificial intelligence, and developed by experts with decades of experience in home maintenance and energy management.

This investment comes following investment from several companies, founders, CEOs, and family offices. Shipshape’s Seed Round investors include Alabama Power Company, a subsidiary of Southern Company the second biggest utility in the United States, the President of Signature Homes which is one of the biggest homebuilders in the Southeast, and Glenn Krevlin a consumer expert and former board member of Restoration Hardware.
