Qlik Acquires Talend

Qlik, a Philadelphia, PA-based data and analytics integration company, acquired Talend, a San Mateo, CA-based data transformation and governance capabilities company.

The amount of the deal was not disclosed.

With the acquisition, Qlik will expand product offerings, enhance support and services, and increase investments in innovation and R&D. The combined entity is led by CEO Mike Capone.

Talend specializes in data integration and data management by combining enterprise-grade data integration, quality, governance, and application, and API integration in an end-to-end platform to unify data across any cloud, hybrid, or multi-cloud environment. The Talend Trust Score instantly quantifies the reliability of any dataset, and remove barriers to becoming data driven.
