QuadSAT Raises €9M in Funding

QuadSAT, an Odense, Denmark-based company focused on verification of radio frequency equipment, raised €9M in funding.

The round was led by IQ Capital with participation from Seraphim Space, Danish state Vækstfonden, and angel investors Torben Frigaard Rasmussen and Helge Munk.

The company intends to use the funds to scale up its operations, expand its product range and bring its technology to more customers in the market.

Led by CEO Joakim Espeland, QuodSAT has developed technology that makes it far easier to test satellite equipment at every stage of its lifecycle, helping the industry to ensure the efficient and reliable use of networks. The company is optimizing the world’s radio spectrum with its system for test and verification of radio frequency equipment. The technology is fully automated, flexible and location independent capable of scaling and transforming how antennas are tested. The systems consist of drone technology integrated with a custom RF payload as well as automation and measurement software.

The company has already worked with leading satellite companies, including OneWeb, SES, and the European Space Agency.
