Senniors Closes $5.6M Seed Funding

Senniors

Senniors, a Madrid, Spain-based startup using technologies on long-term care for elderly and dependent people, raised $5.6m in Seed funding (announced in December 2022).

The round was led by SixThirty with participation from Sevenzonic, KIMPA, Invertidos and Zubi Capital.

The company intends to use the funds to accelerate growth and expand operations.

Led by Claudia Gómez Estefan, CEO, Senniors leverages a “connected health” model, which taps into the Person-Centered Care methodology, to work with each patient in a personalized way and tailor care to degenerative and other diseases (e.g., Alzheimer’s and other dementias, Parkinson’s, stroke, ALS, and osteoarticular pathologies); improve quality of life; reduce the number of visits to the hospital; prevent serious health problems; and give doctors and family members an easy way to track the evolution of each person being provided care.

Senniors has provided more than 700,000 hours of home care to elderly and dependent people. It has also generated more than 2,500 jobs with permanent contracts, fair and legal conditions for caregivers. The company employs more than 70 people on its own staff. In just two years, Senniors has experienced exponential growth, closing 2021 with a gross revenue of over $2m (€ 2.2m) and expects to close 2022 with tripling figures that reach $7m.
