Oxyle, a Zurich, Switzerland-based developer of wastewater treatment technology, raised CHF2.8M in Pre-Seed funding.
The round was led by Wingman Ventures with participation from SOSV, Better Ventures, and another.vc. Including this round, with pre-seed non-dilutive funds and grants raised last year, Oxyle has raised over CHF 7 million in total.
The company intends to use the funds to strengthen the team with upscaling capacities, expand its customer portfolio into market segments, build partnerships to enter new locations, and to bring its first product to market next year.
Led by CEO Dr. Fajer Mushtaq and CTO Dr. Silvan Staufert, Oxyle provides an advanced wastewater treatment and monitoring solution that eliminates persistent and toxic micropollutants from water in a sustainable manner. The technology destroys a wide range of micropollutants including the forever chemicals such as PFAS, pharmaceuticals, hormones, pesticides etc. from contaminated wastewater.
