Arcadia Raises $125M in Funding

Arcadia, a Washington, DC-based climate technology company, raised $125M in funding.

The round was led by Magnetar Capital, with participation from Keyframe Capital, and Macquarie Asset Management’s Green Investment Group. Eric Scheyer, Partner and Head of Energy and Infrastructure at Magnetar, will join the Arcadia Board of Directors.

The company intends to use the funds to support the continued development of its Arc platform, and accelerate its community solar business.

Led by Kiran Bhatraju, founder and CEO, Arcadia is a climate technology company enabling a zero-carbon economy. By unlocking energy data, the platform combines data and APIs to allow any company to act on its environmental impact and build products and climate tech solutions.

Over 300 new energy companies use Arcadia to personalize energy products such as creating auditable carbon accounting reports, optimizing EV charging schedules, creating rooftop solar and storage proposals, and delivering community solar savings on a single bill.
