Vektor AI, a London, UK-based tech career mentorship platform provider, raised £2M in Pre-Seed funding.

The round was led by Cherry Ventures and Mosaic Ventures, with participation from angel investors including Bradley Horowitz (Google), Deborah Liu (Ancestry), Ujjwal Singh (Meta), Paul Forster (Indeed), Phillip Chambers (Peakon), and many more.

The company intends to use the funds to accelerate growth and expand operations.

Founded in December 2021 by husband and wife team, Anna Buldakova and Victor Buldakov, Vektor provides a mentorship platform which aims to enable people to grow in the career they are passionate about across Engineering, Design, Product, etc. Using data such as employment background, education, professional goals, and skills, the platform matches mentees with relevant mentors who can advise on and assist with training, growth, and tangible next steps. While some mentors offer their advice and expertise free of charge, others do so on a paid basis. Via the platform, individuals work with industry experts who provide professional support and advice, assist in the development of new skills, and boost their careers through one-to-one, online video calls.
