Sympatient, a Hamburg, Germany-based digital health startup, raised €7.5M in Series A funding.
The round was led by Verve Ventures and existing investors.
The company intends to use the funds to grow its digital tool for anxiety disorders.
Founded in 2017 by Christian Angern, Julian Angern and Benedikt Reinke, Sympatient is building a brand-new type of care provider for patients with anxiety disorders called the digital anxiety clinic. In treatments, the company provides the therapeutic gold standard such as exposure therapy and CBT for anxiety disorders – digitally and at patient’s homes. Its digital therapeutics (DTx) like Invirto are always prescribed by medical professionals who can also answer individual questions and provide therapeutic guidance.
