DroneDeploy, a San Francisco, CA-based provider of an aerial reality capture platform, acquired StructionSite an Oakland, CA-based provider of ground reality capture solutions.
The amount of the deal, which is expected to close in late October subject to customary closing conditions, was not disclosed.
The combination will create a complete reality capture platform – enabling users to perform aerial, ground, interior and exterior capture in one integrated solution. It will also accelerate automation in some of the world’s largest construction and energy companies.
