BHV Partners Receives €200K in Funding from Enisa

BHV Partners, a Barcelona, and San Sebastián, Spain- and San Francisco, CA-based venture builder specialized in healthcare, raised €200K in funding.

Enisa provided the venture participatory loan.

The company intends to use the funds to consolidate its organizational structure and continue to project its international growth.

Led by CEO Dr Marta Príncep, BHV is a venture builder specialized in healthcare in Southern Europe. It has two lines of business: venture builder and consultancy for technology transfer and innovation institutions, start-ups, and the biomedical industry.

Created in 2019 by executives, serial entrepreneurs, and scientists in the sector, the firm currently has a portfolio of seven investee biomedical startups and an international network of 60 partners and senior experts who advise and mentor new projects, primarily based in Spain, the United States, Denmark, Israel, and Switzerland.

The objective is to generate a portfolio of 30 startups with a balanced risk-opportunity ratio, combining different sub-sectors (therapies, medical devices, digital health, IVD and nutrition). Moreover, the portfolio of clients in consulting services is increasing significantly.
