Postscript, a San Francisco based company that specializes in SMS marketing for Shopify businesses, raised $65M in Series C funding.
The round was led by Dick Costolo and Adam Bain’s venture firm 01 Advisors, with participation from Twilio Ventures, Expanding Capital, m]x[v Capital, and existing investors at Greylock, Accomplice, Elephant, and OpenView.
The company intends to use the funds to expand operations and its business reach, as well as to extend its development platform.
Led by Alex Beller, Postscript provides a SMS platform for Shopify stores. Users can send campaigns, create automations, and drive new revenue with texts, gifs, and more. The company now works with over 8,500 brands on Shopify, including Brooklinen, Homesick, Native, Spikeball, and Kopari.
