VideoVerse Raises $46.8M In Series B Funding

VideoVerse (formerly known as Toch.ai), a New York-based provider of a video-editing SAAS platform, raised $46.8M in Series B funding.

The round was led by A91 Partners, Alpha Wave Global and Binny Bansal, with participation from Innoven Capital, Pacific Western Bank and Stride Ventures.

The company intends to use the funds to strengthen its teams in India and internationally, enhance the technology, build newer products and expand its global market share.

Led by CEO Vinayak Shrivastav, VideoVerse provides a video editing ecosystem addressing a broad range of use cases in the post-production process. The company has created radical machine learning algorithms and a holistic video technology ecosystem that delivers dynamic video content in engaging and cost-efficient, easy to use formats. Magnifi, its AI-powered flagship product, provides real-time video highlight technology for sports, entertainment and news. Its Styck platform enables creators to live-stream simultaneously across multiple social media platforms. VideoVerse’s Illusto, a web-based studio editor, works as an intuitive tool to help users create videos on the go.leader.

The company today has offices in the U.S., Europe, Israel and India and is expanding to Singapore and the Middle East by the end of this year.
