Mariner, a Charlotte, NC-based analytics, IIoT and machine learning startup, closed a Series A funding round of undisclosed amount.
The round was led by Verstra Ventures.
The company intends to use the funds to continue to expand operations and its business reach.
Led by Philip Morris, CEO, Mariner leverages AI, IoT, and Cloud to help manufacturers reduce costs and improve sustainability. The company serves manufacturing customers via its Spyglass family of solutions, which focus on improved defect detection and reduced labor, scrap, and other quality costs. They have been installed in factories across the Americas and Europe.
Mariner is Microsoft’s global 2020 Partner of the Year for IoT, and is also a Microsoft Gold Partner, and a member of Intel’s IoT Alliance.
