BTR (Boston Technology Research), a Boston MA-based regulatory technology company, raised $15M in Series A funding.
The round was led by Insight Partners, with participation from LRV Health and NewStack Ventures.
The company intends to use the funds to expand operations and its business reach.
Led by Bryan Ennis, CEO, BTR is a regulatory technology company providing a compliance engine to healthcare, life sciences and SaMD industries.
BTR’s flagship solution, Res_Q (for Responsible_Quality), is an entirely digital, SaaS-based validation lifecycle solution used by healthcare and life sciences companies to ensure that every system that impacts patient safety and security is to be tested when installed, and every time it changes. Over the next two years, BTR will further automation within Res_Q, expand product offerings and invest in sales and customer success.
Its enterprise-wide compliance platform is used across software vendors and sponsors alike, including customers, like Glaukos, Dermavant, Lexicon and Atsena.
The company has a global workforce located throughout North America, Europe and Asia.
