causaLens, a London, UK-based deep tech company, raised a $45m in Series A funding round.

The round was led by Dorilton Ventures and Molten Ventures, with sizable participation from existing investors Generation Ventures, IQ Capital and GP Bullhound. In conjunction with the funding, Daniel Freeman of Dorilton Ventures joined causaLens’s board of directors.

The company intends to use the funds to double its team in 2022 while investing to maintain its competitive technology lead.

Led by CEO and co-founder Darko Matovski, causaLens is the pioneer of Causal AI, an AI technology quantifying cause-and-effect relationships to reason alongside humans in a manner that is explainable, and fair. The company’s no-code platform delivers accurate results, and allows humans and machines to work together. It is used by decision makers across finance, industry, technology, and government.
