Blue Cedar Networks Receives $10M in Series A Funding

Blue Cedar Networks, a San Francisco, CA-based provider of device-independent app security, received $10M in Series A funding.

Backers included Accelerate IT Ventures (AITV), Benhamou Global Ventures (BGV), Grayhawk Capital, and Generation Ventures. In conjunction with the funding, Anik Bose of BGV, Brian Nugent of AITV, and Sherman Chu of Grayhawk Capital are joining the Blue Cedar board as part of this Series A round.

The company will use the funds to accelerate its R&D investment.

Led by John Aisien, CEO, Blue Cedar Networks provides the Atlas platform, which allows customers to access secure and user-friendly capabilities to connect and protect their enterprise apps across the enterprise.
The company currently has more than 150 customers spanning every major industry vertical, including some of the largest financial services, wireless and telecommunications, CPG, manufacturing, healthcare, and government organizations globally.
The partner ecosystem is comprised of leading technology firms, including SAP, Unisys, and Apperian.
