Noname Security Raises $135M in Series C Funding at $1 Billion Valuation

Noname Security, a Palo Alto, CA-based API security company, secured $135m in Series C funding at a $1 Billion valuation.

The round was led by Georgian and Lightspeed, with participation from existing investors including Insight Partners, Cyberstarts, Next47, Forgepoint, and The Syndicate Group (TSG).

The company intends to use the funds for the global expansion of its go-to-market and R&D teams.

Led by Oz Golan, co-founder and CEO, Noname Security is an API security company which covers the entire API security scope across three pillars — Posture Management, Runtime Security, and Secure API SDLC. 

The company, which has offices in Tel Aviv and London, counts among its customers pharmaceutical firms, large retailers and telecoms. The company grown its workforce to more than 200 employees worldwide.
