Apothékary, a Falls Church, Va.-based plant-basedfarmacy that delivers clean, natural alternatives to traditional over-the-counter drugs and supplements, closed a multi-million-dollar funding round.

The company intends to use the funds to further accelerate growth, retail expansion with partners in UK and Canada, grow their team, and execute on their product innovation pipeline and double down on their brand and customer experience. 

Backers included Bryan Goldberg (Founder of Bustle Digital Group), John Montalbano (Former CEO of RBC Global Asset Management), Eric Patel (Current and Former Board of Directors Chair for brands including SmartSweets, Daiya, Cymax and more), Alex Elle, a best-selling author, certified breathwork coach, creator of the “hey, girl.” podcast, and
Kiran Bhatraju, CEO of Arcadia.

Founded in 2020 by Shizu Okusa, CEO and Chief “Wellth” Advisor, Apothékary delivers a personalized, holistic approach to medicine and wellness, intended for daily use to consumers in more than 23 countries worldwide.
