Wellbe Inc., a Madison, WI-based healthcare tech company, raised more than $2m in Series A funding.
The round was led by HealthX Ventures with co-investment by WISC Partners. In conjunction with the funding, Mark Bakken, Managing Partner of HealthX Ventures, is joining the Wellbe Board of Directors.
The company intends to use the funds to accelerate product innovation and expansion into new markets, continuing focus on client service and platform usability.
Led by James Dias, Founder and CEO, Wellbe provides a digital care management platform, called ConnectedCareTM, which serves 21 healthcare systems in 16 states with solutions for orthopedics, bariatrics, cardiology, oncology, and other service lines. ConnectedCareTM increases patients’ engagement and satisfaction by providing actionable and information in real time throughout the care journey.
