Flip, a Los Angeles CA-based social commerce app, raised $28M in Series A funding.
The round was led by Streamlined Ventures with participation from Mubadala Capital Ventures , BDMI and Ruby Lu.
The company intends to use the funds to scale its brand offering and creator ecosystem, while deepening its end-to-end logistics platform.
Led by Noor Agha, founder and CEO, Flip provides a discovery-to-purchase social commerce platform allowing users to discover and purchase beauty and wellness products by flipping through social-media-style content created by other users. Its patented technology allows shoppers to post video reviews of their purchases or create shoppable live shows; receive commissions based on sales made from their posts; and have access to real-time data on post-performance.
