Talkatoo, a Halifax, Nova Scotia-based company platform-agnostic dictation software for animal health, raised an undisclosed amount in funding.
The round was led by Klick Ventures with participation from Blu Ventures, Concrete Ventures, Manifold Group, Globalive Capital and Dr. Ivan Zak.
The company intends to use the funds to accelerate growth and move to animal health sector.
Led by CEO Shawn Wilkie, Talkatoo provides a software platform that helps veterinary professionals cut documentation time so they can spend more time with patients and less time on after-hours typing. The platform leverages a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) subscription model, user-friendly interface, and integrates with all applications without training or hardware.
The company was part of the Google for Startups Accelerator program’s Voice AI cohort, paired up with Klick for mentorship.
