SmartRecruiters, a San Francisco, CA-based hiring success company, raised $110m in Series E funding.
The round, which brought the company’s total amount raised to $205m, with a valuation of $1.5 billion, was led by Silver Lake Waterman with participation from existing investors Insight Partners, and Mayfield Fund.
The company intends to use the funds to:
- accelerate product development for its talent acquisition suite in the areas of intelligence, automation and conversational interfaces,
- expand go-to-market efforts across US, EMEA and APAC, and
- provide on-the-ground support for its customer community and partner ecosystem.
Led by Jerome Ternynck, CEO and Founder, SmartRecruiters provides a cloud-based global Talent Acquisition Suite that allows teams to attract, select, and hire talent. Four thousand companies worldwide use it to achieve hiring success using recruitment marketing, CRM, AI, ATS, and a marketplace of 600+ connected vendors, all within one scalable platform.
SmartRecruiters already serves prominent enterprises, including Visa, Square, McDonald’s, Ubisoft, FireEye, Biogen, Equinox, Public Storage, and others.
