Leo Cancer Care Raises $25.3M in Series B Funding

Leo Cancer Care, a Horley, UK- and Middleton, Wisconsin-based radiation therapy startup, raised $25.3m in Series B funding.

The company intends to use the funds to expand their teams in the US, Europe and Singapore and continue the development of its upright radiotherapy solutions.

Backers included Pureland Global Venture, Yu Galaxy, WARF, Alumni Ventures, Junson Capital and Serra Ventures as well as industry leaders CHC, Cosylab, Toret Devices and Radiation Business Solutions.

Led by Stephen Towe, CEO, Leo Cancer Care provides radiation therapy solutions that can provide a streamlined and efficient treatment, which will make both Particle and Proton Therapy accessible. The company’s gantry-less solutions utilize a fixed beam and introduce slow patient rotation.
