Index Ventures, a global venture capital firm, closed three funds, totalling $3.1 billion.
The new funds, spread across stages, include:
- early-stage fund Index Ventures XI ($900m),
- growth fund Index Ventures Growth VI ($2bn), and
- seed fund Index Origin ($200m), which was previously announced.
The funds will support new ventures through all of the stages of growth, from ideation to maturity. The firm will be investing in companies across sectors, particularly in consumer, enterprise, software infrastructure, gaming and fintech, where they have established leadership and expertise.
