Moth+Flame Raises $2.5M in Seed Funding

Moth+Flame, a NYC-based developer of virtual reality training technology, closed a $2.5m seed funding round.

The round was led by Bee Partners with participation from First In, Meeting Street Capital, Service Provider Capital, Spacecadet, and Dan Farah, producer of Ready Player One.

The company intends to use the funds for key strategic hires in sales and development.

Led by Kevin Cornish, CEO and Founder, Moth+Flame is a developer of SaaS immersive training platforms, PromiseVR and READY VR, powered by AI and natural language processing, to offer adaptive learning programs for hard and soft skills in both the public and private sector. Customers include Netflix, Accenture, IMAX, Estee Lauder Companies, Google, Oculus, AMC, Discovery, MTV, AT&T, Ram Truck, AMD and Taylor Swift.

Founded in 2015., the company has approximately 39 employees.
