NoiseAware, a Dallas, TX-based smart noise monitoring company, raised $8m in Series A funding.
The round was led by S3 Ventures and Thayer Ventures (NASDAQ: TVACU). New board members include Eric Engineer from S3 Ventures, and Stephanie Fuhrman, founder of Catalyst Innovation Lab and former Head of Innovation at Greystar.
The company intends to use the funds to accelerate product innovation and market expansion.
Led by Andrew Schulz, CEO, and Peter Taylor, Chief Operating Officer, NoiseAware provides a privacy-safe smart noise monitoring solution that advises short-term rental owners to be prepared for potential large gatherings in their properties for holiday celebrations.
