Zolar, a Berlin, Germany-based greentech startup, added €10m to its ongoing Series B funding, raising the total investment of this round to €35m.
The investment was led by Energy Impact Partners.
The company intends to use the funds to expand its business reach.
Led by Alex Melzer, CEO, Zolar is a greentech startup that offers fixed-priced photovoltaic systems, which home owners can plan, compare and commission online. With its in-house developed Zolar Online Configurator, homeowners have the possibility to adjust the components of their PV system according to their wishes, and along with this, receive an individual consultation from solar experts. Zolar’s wide network of local partner businesses carries out the installation on-site. The startup employs around 150 employees across Germany.
