Cipher Skin, a Denver, CO-based provider of a data insights platform for the physical world, raised $5M in Series A funding.
The round was led by the Boyett Group with participation from Draper Capital, Tribe Capital and TKC Capital.
The company intends to use the funds to grow its product line and expand into new markets.
Founded in 2017 by CEO Philip Bogdanovich and COO Dr. Shaka Bahadu, Cipher Skin leverages Cipher Mesh technology, a network of sensors that can be printed on any textile and wrap around any physical object, from human limbs to bridges and pipes, to capture movement, retrieve internal metrics, and translate both into actionable, visualized insights through proprietary software – delivering diagnostics that can solve challenges for several industries.
