Arthur, a NYC-based AI observability platform closed a $15M Series A funding round.

The round was led by Index Ventures, with participation from new investors Acrew and Plexo Capital.

The company intends to use the funds to scale operations and meet surging customer demand.

The company intends to use the funds to accelerate delivery of key capabilities, making AI monitoring, fairness tools, and model performance management available to all organizations.

Founded in 2018 and led by CEO Adam Wenchel, Arthur is a proactive model monitoring solution to monitor the performance of AI deployments and catch and fix issues before they derail users’ models. The solution features advanced performance monitoring, bias detection, and customizable alerts.

In addition to Wenchel, the co-founders include Liz O’Sullivan, John Dickerson, and Keegan Hines.
