GOAT Group, a Los Angeles, CA-based global platform for products from the past, present and future, closed a Series E funding round of $100m.
D1 Capital Partners made the investment.
The company intends to use the funds to accelerate growth across its product categories and geographies.
Founded in 2015 focusing on the sneaker market, GOAT has later expanded into adjacent categories including apparel and accessories from select emerging, contemporary and iconic brands.
Led by by Eddy Lu, Chief Executive Officer, the company has 13 physical locations in the U.S., Asia, and Europe, including distribution and authentication centers that ship products to 170 international markets. GOAT’s platforms feature over 350 brands across sneakers, apparel and accessories. It is currently delivering products to over 30 million members across 170 countries.
Inclusive of the funding from D1, the company has raised nearly $300 million from venture capital and strategic investors including Accel, Foot Locker, Index and Upfront Ventures.
