OwnBackup, a Fort Lee, NJ, USA-based cloud-to-cloud backup and recovery vendor, closed a $23.25m Series C financing.
The round was co-led by Insight Venture Partners and Vertex Ventures, with participation from existing investors Innovation Endeavors, Oryzn Capital and Salesforce Ventures.
The company intends to use the funds to expand its operations.
Led by CEO Sam Gutmann, OwnBackup is a cloud-to-cloud backup and restore vendor, which provides secure, automated, daily backups of SaaS and PaaS data, as well as data compare and restore tools for disaster recovery. The company’s solutions cover data loss and corruption caused by human errors, malicious intent, integration errors and rogue applications.
The company has R&D, support and other functions in Tel Aviv and London.
