Justin Kotzin has joined global growth equity firm General Atlantic as an Operating Partner and Head of Debt Capital Markets.
Based in New York, Mr. Kotzin will be part of General Atlantic’s Resources Group, providing expertise and strategic counsel to the firm’s investment teams and portfolio companies.
Prior to joining General Atlantic, he held a number of senior positions at Morgan Stanley, most recently serving as Managing Director in the Leveraged & Acquisition Finance Syndicate group. In this role, Mr. Kotzin executed high yield and leveraged loan transactions focused on various sectors including consumer & retail, industrial, business services, real estate, and gaming. Before Morgan Stanley, he worked at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, most recently as Vice President of Leveraged Capital Markets.
Mr. Kotzin holds a B.S. in Commerce with a concentration in Finance and Management from the University of Virginia.
