Kaltura, a NYC-based video technology provider, acquired Rapt Media, an interactive personalized video startup, for an undisclosed amount.
Founded in 2011 by Erika Trautman, CEO, Rapt Media offers customers interactive video technology for a range of uses cases, including personalized marketing, customer education, recruitment, learning and educational video experiences.
Customers include Mercedes, EMC Dell, Alight Solutions, and eBay.
Rapt Media’s branching video tools represent an addition to Kaltura’s existing range of video engagement capabilities, including its Interactive Video Quizzes, Editing Tools, In-Video Calls-to-Action, etc.
