Human Interest (kna Captain401), a San Francisco, CA-based provider of employee benefits solutions for small businesses, raised $11m in Series A funding.
The round was led by Wing Venture Capital, with participation from Adam Nash, former CEO of Wealthfront.
The company intends to use the funds to expand nationwide.
Co-founded by Paul Sawaya and Roger Lee, Human Interest provides small business employers with 401(k) retirement savings plans for their workforce enrolling in a few minutes.
The company is also backed by Y Combinator, SoftTech VC, SV Angel, CrunchFund, Slow Ventures, and other top Silicon Valley investors.
