Agrinos Completes $14.7M Equity Investment

Agrinos AS, an Oslo Norway-based global leader in biological crop nutrition products, completed a $14.7m equity investment.

Backers included long-term investors Manor Investment SA, Havfonn AS and EuroChem Group AG. In conjunction with the equity investment, Frederic de Stexhe, a Principal at Manor, joined Agrinos’ Board of Directors. The same Board also announced the resignation of board member Matthieu Baumgartner.

The company intends to use the funds for continued growth, including sales growth in core geographies as well as research and development for an enhanced product pipeline.

Led by CEO Kevin Helash, Agrinos is a biological crop input provider offering biofertilizers and biostimulant products for farmers. Based on proprietary High Yield Technology (HYT) platform, the company’s HYT® products strengthen the soil-based microbial ecosystem, stimulate crop development at key points in the growth cycle and boost natural plant resistance to environmental stresses.
To date, Agrinos has now served more than 175,000 growers in over a dozen countries.
