Hyr Raises $1.3M in Funding

Hyr, a New York-based platform that connects traditional businesses with hourly paid workers to fill shifts on-demand, raised $1.3m in funding.

The round was led by Flybridge Capital Partners, with participation from XFactor Ventures and Newark Venture Partners.

The company, which has now raised a total of $2.4m, intends to use the funds to continue to expand their geographic coverage.

Led by Erika Mozes and Joshua Karam, Hyr provides an on demand platform that instantly connects businesses with high quality shift workers. The company is a member of the MaRS Venture Growth Program in Toronto and a member of Newark Venture Partners Labs.
