PlasmaGen BioSciences Private Limited, a Bengaluru, India-based biopharmaceutical company, recently closed nearly $25m in funding.
The round was led by Eight Roads Ventures India with participation from F-Prime Capital Partners and the company’s founders.
The company is using the funds to expand its product portfolio and market adoption.
Founded in 2010 by Vinod Nahar and led by CEO Dr Ranjeet S Ajmani, PlasmaGen BioSciences manufactures blood plasma derived products including Albumin and Immunoglobins with a pan-India presence with a network of 200+ hospitals and 5,000+ clinics.
It also works closely with the Government on various plasma policies and haemovigilance and sells its products outside of India.
