StarLeaf Raises $40M in Funding

StarLeaf, a provider of cloud platform for enterprise video conferencing and calling services, raised $40m in its first outside funding.

Backers included Highland Europe, Grafton Capital, and the founders. In conjunction with the funding, Laurence Garrett, partner at Highland Europe, and Oliver Thomas, partner and co-founder at Grafton Capital, will join StarLeaf as a non-executive director.

The company will use the funds to invest in its Asia Pacific business, and increase the number of customers, distribution partners and video endpoint manufacturers.

Led by CEO, Mark Loney, StarLeaf is a service provider with a global platform that delivers meeting and calling services to organizations around the world.
The company and its network of channel partners currently sell into 50 countries worldwide, with a growing enterprise customer base.
