Fazland.com, a Reggio Emilia, Italy-based services platform that connects professionals with people in need, raised €4.5m in funding.
The round was led by RedSeed Ventures with participation from Mediaset, via its venture capital arm Ad4Ventures, and other investors.
The company, which has raised over €6m in funding to date, intends to use the capital to continue to expand its operations.
Co-founded in 2012 by Vittorio Guarini, Alessandro Iotti, Giovanni Azzali and Federico Panini, Fazland provides a marketplace that connects small businesses and professionals providing services to people in need.
The online and mobile platform enables users to ask for a service and receive a personalized quote from professionals in such categories for home, business, personal services, event organizers, select the best proposal and close the deal by phone.
Fazland, which counts over 1,000 daily requests and over 500k monthly views, had an over €1m turnover in 2016.
