Mobile Sports Fan Engagement Platform GameOn Closes $2M Funding Round

gameonGameOn, a San Francisco, CA-based mobile engagement platform for sports fans, raised an additional $2m in its latest funding round.

Backers included Quest Venture Partners, XG Ventures, Next News Ventures, and the DeBartolo family, all of whom joined other notable sports business investors like Joe Montana and Snoop Dogg.

The company intends to use the funds to expand operations and add new features.

Led by Kalin Stanojev, Chief Product Officer, and Alex Beckman, CEO, GameOn creates a single-screen mobile sports experience for fans, combining chat with live updates and video highlights, delivering a direct channel for content providers, entertainers, and current and former professional athletes to share the game with their audience.


It is available now for free as an Android and iOS application.
