Optimizely Secures $58M in Series C Funding

optimizelyOptimizely, a San Francisco, CA-based experience optimization platform, secured $58m in Series C funding.

The round was led by Index Ventures, with participation from Andreessen Horowitz, Bain Capital Ventures, Battery Ventures, Benchmark Capital, Citi Ventures, Correlation Ventures, Danhua Capital, Pharus Capital Management, Salesforce Ventures, and Tenaya Capital. In conjunction with the funding, Ilya Fushman, General Partner at Index Ventures, will join Optimizely’s Board of Directors.

The company, which has raised $146m in total funding, intends to use the funds to continue to build products.

Led by Dan Siroker, Co-Founder and CEO, Optimizely provides an experience optimization platform featuring A/B testing and personalization tools for websites and mobile apps. The just introduced Optimizely Personalization enables businesses to offer their customers personal experiences across the web and mobile, without needing massive resources or engineering teams.
Customers include CNN, Crate and Barrel, Intuit, Microsoft, NH Hotel Group, Priceline, and Virgin America.
