DirectScale Raises $4M in Series A Funding

directscaleDirectScale, a Lindon, Utah-based provider of a software platform purpose-built to serve the direct and social selling industry, raised $4m in Series A funding.

The round was led by Kickstart Seed Fund and strategic investor NetSuite.

The company intends to use the funds for development of existing and new features.

Rodger Smith, CEO and Co-Founder of DirectScale has launched a new business management platform that manages sales, inventory, and teams, and provides support for transactions, genealogy, and commissions.
The company offers APIs for integration into existing company systems and records.
Features includes business dashboards and reports, eCommerce and communications tools, unified messaging and customizable front-end marketing options, guides to ensure effective onboarding processes and integration with Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, and Google+.

In addition to the investment from NetSuite, DirectScale has also become a NetSuite SuiteCloud Developer Network Partner. The partnership will allow the company to build its platform on top of NetSuite, leveraging its SuiteCloud Development Platform. Additionally, DirectScale’s customers will use NetSuite’s cloud business management suite to streamline their business’ processes.
