Gimme Vending Receives $450K in Seed Funding

gimmevending-logoGimme Vending, an Atlanta, GA-based device and software solution that enables vending machines to communicate sales, cash and inventory data to handheld devices, received $450k in seed funding.

Backers included David Cummings of Atlanta Ventures and private investor John Lally.

The company intends to use the funds to pursue technology advances and make strategic new hires.

Co-founded by Cory Hewett and Evan Jarecki, Gimme provides a hardware/software solution that lets vending companies the ability track cash, inventory and speed service calls via a device that transmits information instantly to handheld devices/mobile phones in real-time – without downloading, synchronizing or hand-keying.
Customers include Atlanta-based Eagle Vending.
