Get Smart Content, an Austin, Texas-based multi-channel personalization platform, raised a $3.5m round of funding.
The round was led by Origin Ventures with participation from Chicago Ventures and Virgo Capital.
The company, which has raised just over $6.4m to date, plans to use the capital to expand its sales team targeting enterprise and mid-market customers, as well as new hires in customer support and services, to continue to expand innovation efforts.
Led by Jim Eustace, founder and CEO, Get Smart Content is a multi-channel personalization platform that enables marketers to segment online audiences and target them throughout the buyer’s journey.
The company offers three primary products:
– Smart Content, which provides a user-friendly administrative interface to design campaigns that deliver the right content to the right person at the right time.
– Intelligence, which allows marketers to turn their website and marketing data into insights by identifying top-performing content sequences, roadblocks and untapped potential to reach new customers.
– Connections, a suite of integrations with other marketing technologies — content management systems, web analytics, marketing automation platforms, customer relationship management solutions, third-party data providers and more — to enable cross-channel personalization.
Enterprise B2B clients include HP, Siemens, Iron Mountain and Rockwell Automation.
