Zentera Systems, a San Jose, CA-based provider of secure Cloud Overlay Network hybrid infrastructure, completed a $4.9m Series A round of funding.
The round was led by CDIB Venture Capital with participation from existing investors.
The company will use the funds to expand its sales and engineering teams.
Led by Dr. Jaushin Lee, CEO, Zentera Systems offers the Zentera™ Cloud Overlay Network, a hybrid cloud virtual infrastructure that connects and protects enterprise compute resources, applications and data deployed in enterprise on-premises environments and the public cloud. The Cloud Overlay Network capability is built with patent-pending technology and can be provisioned within hours. It addresses virtual hybrid network, cloud firewall, data encryption and transport automation within and across multiple cloud domains.
