Gracious Eloise, a New York-based personalization technology company, completed its $3m Series A funding round.
The round was raised from BBG Ventures, Broadway Angels, Female Founders Fund, Great Oaks Venture Capital, Montage Ventures and Valley Girl Ventures, as well as existing investors.
The company intends to use the funds to expand its technology team, including the appointment of Trey Stout, Chief Technology Officer and Simmone Taitt, Head of Business Development.
Founded by CEO Eloise Bune, Gracious Eloise has just launched Handwriting.io, a new API that enables strategic partners and developers to incorporate its proprietary digital handwriting technology into existing mobile apps, desktop applications and websites. With the launch of Handwriting.io, the company will work closely with brand partners and the developer community to enable bring digital personalization. Current partners include Douglas Elliman Real Estate, DVF, BlueSky ETO, Calypso St. Barth, and Union Square Hospitality Group.
