Zesty Limited, a London, UK-based consumer healthcare platform, completed a $7.2m Series A financing.
The round was led by Innovation Capital with participation from Qualcomm Incorporated, through its venture investment group Qualcomm Ventures, Mangrove Capital Partners and Maya Capital as well as existing investors TA Venture and ABRT Fund. Florian Reinaud, from Innovation’s Paris office, will join the Zesty Board, alongside David Waroquier from Mangrove Capital. Miles Kirby from Qualcomm Ventures will also join as a Board observer.
The company intends to use the funds to accelerate growth in London, across the UK and expand into Europe.
Co-founded by James Balmain and Lloyd Price in May 2013, Zesty is an online booking service allowing patients to find, compare and book healthcare professionals near them – in real time.
