Videoplaza, a London, UK-based global sell side ad management platform for video, has raised $12m in funding.
The round was led by venture capital firms Qualcomm Ventures and Innovacom, with participation existing investors Creandum and Northzone.
The company intends to use the funding to increase R&D efforts and accelerate global expansion. Videoplaza, which recently opened new offices in Madrid, Berlin and Singapore, serves a client base across 17 markets worldwide.
Led by CEO Sorosh Tavakoli, Videoplaza operates a technology platform that delivers advertising on all leading devices and services including Flash, Silverlight, HTML5, iOS devices, Android, Sony Playstation, Samsung Smart TVs, and closed IPTV environments etc., enabling media companies to monetize their video content.
