Memio Wins InnovAction Lab 2015

il team di memioMemio, a smart pill box, won the 2015 edition of InnovAction Lab, the startup learning program led by Augusto Coppola.

The final took place in Florence, during the XXIV International World Wide Web Conference.

Led by Benedetto Buratti, Roberta Musarò, Manuel De Iuliis, Lorenzo Del Zozzo and Gabriele Sedda, Memio is a smart pill box delivering prescribed pills at the right moment. Via an app, the physician can plan the therapy with an electronic tool alerting the patient about the right moment to take pills.

Icedreams, a maker of a gluten and fat-free ice cream, took the second place followed by PassParYou, a platform to manage online authentication and solve the issue of stolen passwords.

The jury was composed of more than one hundred entrepreneurs, business angels, and vcs such as Yossi Matias (Google Ventures), David Rose (GUST and Rose Tech Venture), Bill Coughran (Sequoia Capital), Talia Rafaeli (StageOne Ventures) and Uri Levine (founder di Waze e Feex).
