MacStadium, an Atlanta, GA-based provider of Mac hosting, cloud computing and infrastructure-as-a-service, raised $1m in Series A funding.
An unnamed angel backer made the investment.
The company intends to use the funds to accelerate its growth into Europe and the Asia Pacific region beginning in the first quarter of 2015, as well as to enhance new product development activities relevant to its core Apple IaaS and VMware cloud deployments.
Led by Greg McGraw, CE0, MacStadium is a global provider of Mac hosting, cloud computing and infrastructure-as-a-service (IaaS). The company’s dedicated Apple servers are capable of running all versions of OS X as well as other operating systems.
It currently serves more than 3,000 business customers.
MacStadium has also added Jeffery Jones (co-founder and CEO of Apto Solutions) and R. Will Brooks (a partner at Brooks Schussler Company) to its board.
